WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
Dreadfire is my ultimate dream game and passion project, featuring an ambitious singleplayer campaign with a compelling sci-fi story, combined with brutal, satisfying, and unforgivingly fast combat.
I started this project while I was a freshman in high school, and I have been working on it ever since.
I built this game from the ground up and by myself, which has pushed me to wear many hats, such as coding, modeling, lighting, and even casting and directing.
Making Dreadfire has given me hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of creating a game, from gameplay systems to cinematic storytelling, from technical scripting to visual polish.
Over the course of developing Dreadfire, I’ve developed the skills needed to take a game from concept to an actual product. I’ve not only become deeply proficient with the Unity game engine, but I also developed a wide array of skills such as character modeling, level designing, lighting, writing, and more.
MY ROLES

- Designing all the character models in the game
- Designing all the weapons in the game
- Responsible for the lighting in the game
- Animating all the cinematics in the game
- Designing all the levels and environments in the game
- Responsible for all the scripting of the levels
- Casting and directing a team of well-known professional voice actors for the characters of the game
- Writing the story and script for the game
- Writing all the code for the game (in C#)
- Designing all the character models in the game
- Designing all the weapons in the game
- Responsible for the lighting in the game
- Animating all the cinematics in the game
- Designing all the levels and environments in the game
- Responsible for all the scripting of the levels
- Casting and directing a team of well-known professional voice actors for the characters of the game
- Establishing the game’s presence on gaming platforms such as Steam for publishing
- Version control with PlasticSCM
- Writing contracts for investment deals and NDAs
